SakanaaNime Tracker ("the Service") is an online tool that identifies anime, manga, manhwa and manhua titles from an image you provide. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Service allows you to submit a screenshot, scan or panel image and receive, in real time, an identification of the most likely title together with metadata such as cover art, synopsis, characters, related works and official sources. Identification is performed through an automated analysis chain that combines visual frame matching with a deep visual search across the public web and automated reasoning. Results are provided on a best-effort basis and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable.
The Service is intended exclusively for identifying and discovering anime, manga, manhwa and manhua content. You agree not to submit images depicting real people (photographs of yourself or others, selfies, identification documents, or any content that is not fictional illustrated media), and not to use the Service for facial recognition, identity verification, surveillance, tracking of individuals, or any other purpose unrelated to title identification. Using the Service with images of real people violates these Terms and may also violate applicable privacy laws.
You may not: (a) use the Service to identify, profile, track or infer information about real, identifiable individuals; (b) submit images that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights of third parties; (c) submit nude, sexually explicit, or pornographic imagery; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-query the Service or its underlying analysis chain; (e) use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair it; or (f) circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or token mechanisms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Visual identification is inherently probabilistic: results depend on image quality, cropping, lighting, availability of the title in public sources, and other factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee that any submitted image will be identified correctly or at all, and we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any result or metadata (including metadata sourced from third-party databases). You remain solely responsible for verifying any identification before relying on it.
You represent that you have the right to submit each image you upload and that its submission does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right. You are solely responsible for the content of the images you submit. We do not review submitted images before analysis and do not host them beyond the short-lived, temporary processing window described in our Privacy Policy.
All metadata, titles, character names, cover artwork, synopses and related information displayed by the Service belong to their respective rights holders and are shown for identification and discovery purposes only. The design, branding, and code of the Service belong to SakanaaNime Tracker. Submitting an image to the Service does not transfer any rights in that image to us, and you retain all rights you hold in your submitted images.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure for hosting, image processing, visual search and metadata. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies. Scheduled or unscheduled downtime, rate limiting, or termination of any underlying service may temporarily or permanently affect the Service. We may discontinue or modify the Service at any time without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SakanaaNime Tracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed USD $50.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SakanaaNime Tracker and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, including the submission of unlawful or infringing images.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability limitations and indemnification) survive termination.
Because the Service is entirely free and runs on shared infrastructure, fair-use limits apply automatically to every visitor. Each IP address is limited to 3 identification requests per minute and a daily quota of identification requests, which resets at 00:00 Jakarta time (UTC+7) every day. When your quota is exhausted, new identification requests are temporarily declined until the next reset; the interface shows your remaining requests for today and displays a clear notice when the limit is reached. These limits are enforced server-side and cannot be reset by refreshing the page, changing networks, or clearing browser data. Attempts to circumvent these limits violate these Terms (see Section 4(f)) and may result in access being restricted. Limits may be adjusted at any time without prior notice to keep the Service healthy for all users.
The Service may display third-party advertisements in limited areas of the interface (currently within the expanded title-detail view only; advertisements never appear on the main identification page). Advertisements are served by a third-party advertising network and may use standard web technologies such as cookies and device identifiers for ad delivery and measurement. We do not choose which specific advertisements are shown, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. Displaying ads helps us cover the ongoing costs of running this free Service. You can typically opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser’s privacy settings or the advertising network’s own opt-out mechanism.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Indonesia. We may revise these Terms at any time; the date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced through the Service where practicable.
The metadata displayed by the Service (titles, character names, cover artwork, synopses) is sourced from third-party databases and the public web for identification and discovery purposes only. If you are a rights holder and believe that any displayed material infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] identifying the copyrighted work, the location of the material on the Service, your contact information, and a statement that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder. We will review valid notices and, where appropriate, cease displaying the affected material.
